The year is 1910. Mother Theresa was born and Mark Twain passed away. Halley’s Comet made its once-every-seventy-six-years appearance to residents of Earth. Ohio’s own William Howard Taft was president of the United States. And Dayton Bag & Burlap opened its doors for business, marking the beginning of the 110 year journey the company currently enjoys.



The amount of change that’s happened in the world since 1910 is staggering.

Every year, we treat millions of yards of EPA compliant burlap and manufacture all sizes of wire baskets to serve the nursery industry. Our heritage is deeply rooted in American plant and tree nurseries and the landscaping industry.

Our expertise in manufacturing processes have allowed us to become a leader in Honeycomb Reinforced Substrates. Our system provides an extremely lightweight structural solution that produces incredibly high strength composite parts. A multitude of automotive companies use our parts to help gain fuel efficiencies and, in turn, help our environment.
