What are Burlap Sandbags

Jun. 26th, 2015

Burlap sandbags are made from a dense woven fabric, from the skin of a very fibrous plant called the jute plant. Because of its high fiber content, these burlap sandbags are incredibly durable and resistant to water seepage.

Due to their high resistance to water absorption, burlap sandbags work great against floodwaters and other spillage.

Burlap sandbags can also be used for providing some extra vehicle traction when necessary during the winter. Place some filled sandbags into your truck bed or trunk and you’ll notice quite a difference on the road.

Our sandbags can come as empty or filled sandbags, depending on your need. They are also seal proof and come with their own ties for closing them off.
