In between the plies is a heavy scrim reinforcement that greatly enhances tear resistance and increases the overall life of the bag. This bag material is used in more demanding applications where you can not afford your bag to break down. The CIA Daybag is the ONLY Sandbag available that will last in extreme "hot", "cold" or contaminated areas, such as landfills, ditch reservoirs, salt water, or any conditions where the UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers must really meet extreme conditions.
