Honeycomb

Honeycomb composite panels, by Baypreg®, are manufactured using a sandwich-like structure consisting of a specially engineered lightweight "honeycomb" center and two strong sheets of surfacing materials on either side. This system provides a lightweight structural solution that produces high strength and extremely lightweight composite parts for both the marine and automotive industries.

The expanded honeycomb core comes in types I, II, and III and can be cut to any unique specification.
